Clark Family

Every now and then I get the privilege to photograph a family that wants to do something creative, fun, and messy. The Clark Family was just that! They had seen some of the portraits I did back in 2008 and were inspired to incorporate paint into their family session. I brought the paint, they brought the energy. We certainly had a lot of fun. Here are just a few of the images that resulted.

Devin

Something a little different tonight. Headshots! It's been a while since I had a headshot session, so this was refreshing and fun. Devin is about to finish his book and also is developing a fragrance. He is located in Hyde Park, so I got to explore more of this city that I love to find so new locations. It is seriously gorgeous down there, if you haven't visited, I suggest it. Enjoy.

Little Caroline

This ten day old beauty just melted my heart. Working with newborns is always a privilege. They are so fresh and new and absolutely perfect. To top it all off Caroline's big sister Evelyn was just such precious. She was so excited that her little sis was here, and soon they could hang some pictures of her on the wall.

Finer Family

There is nothing I look forward to more then working with the really little littles. This little lady is only four months old and stole my heart instantly. She was full of smiles and her lovely parents just made for the most picturesque family. It was the perfect day to lay out in the grass and adore this precious baby.

Boernsen Family

Kelly was my 100th 'like' on Facebook. What better way to celebrate then to reward her with a free family photo session! We were trying to outrun a storm during the entire session, but we made it a no one got wet. (Unless you include me on my walk home) We met at the south pond at Lincoln Park to find some beautiful cityscapes. Enjoy.

Henry

This little is about to turn three! He sure was a bundle of energy. These were a couple favorites from his three-year session.

Mother's Day

I had the honor the Friday before Mother's Day this year to photograph some amazing women and their littles. These were the results. Seeing the bond between mother and child captured is something that rings particularly close to me this year. :)

Dhillon Family

 I had a really fun time with this family. We met one evening at a park near Navy Pier. It was overcast, so I was knew we were going to capture some beautiful images. Their little one was almost three years old and a bundle of energy. It was so darling to watch her hug her mom's bump in anticipation of her new brother or sister that would arrive soon. Hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
